Heritage Festival

Goa Tourism organizes a three day Heritage festival which showcases a spectacular blend of traditional Goan music, folk dance, fashion, live performances reflecting the State’s deep rooted unique culture, traditions and features of life and community spirit in Goa that have continued over many years and have been passed on from one generation to another of the State. The festival strives to preserve and promote the traditions, lifestyle and unique cultural aspects of the State of Goa in order to boost the Tourism industry. The main attractions of this festival are different folklore, traditional dance by Kanta Gaude and troupe including the Goff and Veerbhadra dance forms and food stalls with Goan cuisine,. The festival will also feature a fashion show by Verma Demello and live music by music bands like Sidhanath Buyao and band, Black Sapphire, Raga, Rasm and our very own Goan music legend Sonia Shirsat. The festival helps to attract and increase tourist inflows in the State and in turn benefits the local economy.
